Chest X-ray
An imaging test that uses small amounts of radiation to produce pictures of the organs, tissues, and bones of the body. When focused on the chest, it can help spot abnormalities or diseases of the airways, blood vessels, bones, heart, and lungs.
A chest X-ray is an easy, quick, and effective test that has been used for decades to help doctors view some of your most vital organs.

Physical Examination
A routine test your doctor performs to check your overall health. It is also known as a wellness check.
Recommended at least once a year, especially in people over the age of 50. According to the National Institutes of Health, these exams are used to:

Audiometry
Tests your ability to hear sounds. Sounds vary based on their loudness (intensity) and the speed of sound wave vibrations (tone).
The INTENSITY of sound is measured in decibels (dB):

A jet engine is about 140 - 180 dB
The TONE of sound is measured in cycles per second (cps) or Hertz:

Low bass tones range around 50 - 60 Hz

Ishihara
A color perception test for red-green color deficiencies. It was named after its designer, Dr. Shinobu Ishihara, a professor at the University of Tokyo, who first published his tests in 1917.
The plates make up several different test designs:

Transformation plates: individuals with color vision defect should see a different figure from individuals with normal color vision.

Vanishing plates: only individuals with normal color vision could recognize the figure.

Hidden digit plates: only individuals with color vision defect could recognize the figure.

Diagnostic plates: intended to determine the type of color vision defect (protanopia or deuteranopia) and the severity of it.
